Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dentist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in general dentistry, pediatric dentistry, and various dental procedures. The Dentist will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, performing assessments, and developing treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs. This role requires excellent communication skills, a commitment to patient education, and adherence to all health regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive dental examinations and assessments of patients.
  • Diagnose dental conditions and develop appropriate treatment plans.
  • Perform a variety of dental procedures including but not limited to dental extractions, root canal therapy, prosthodontics, endodontics, and oral surgery.
  • Utilize four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency during procedures.
  • Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Ensure infection control protocols are strictly followed in accordance with aseptic techniques.
  • Educate patients on oral health practices and preventive care strategies.
  • Collaborate with dental hygienists and support staff to provide exceptional patient care.
  • Stay updated on advancements in dental technology and practices.

Qualifications

  • Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited institution.
  • Valid state dental license and current certification in CPR.
  • Proficiency in dental software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix is preferred.
  • Experience in pediatric dentistry is a plus; familiarity with pediatric patients is essential.
  • Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, medical terminology, and medical documentation practices.
  • Previous experience in a dental office or clinic setting is highly desirable.
  • Ability to perform various dental procedures including but not limited to dental fabrication and medical imaging techniques.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with a focus on patient care and assessment.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $138,422.52 - $166,702.38 per year
