General Helper

A General Helper provides manual labour and assistance in a variety of work settings, performing tasks such as loading/unloading materials, cleaning, organizing work areas, and supporting skilled workers. Key responsibilities include assisting with maintenance, running errands, maintaining safety protocols, and ensuring the cleanliness and efficiency of the workplace. The role is flexible and can vary widely depending on the industry, but it consistently involves providing support to teams and completing tasks as directed by management.

Key Responsibilities

• Material Handling: Loading, unloading, and moving materials, equipment, and products.
• Workplace Maintenance: Cleaning and organizing work areas, tools, and equipment to ensure a safe and hazard-free environment.
• Assistance to Skilled Workers: Supplying materials and tools, holding items, and performing other tasks to support production or maintenance staff.
• Safety Compliance: Following all safety protocols and inspecting areas for potential hazards.
• Errands & Deliveries: Fetching supplies and delivering items to different departments or locations.
• Equipment Support: Assisting with the setup, dismantling, and minor maintenance of equipment.
• Quality Control: Performing basic quality checks and reporting any faulty products to supervisors.
• Task Completion: Collaborating with team members to efficiently and accurately complete various job assignments.
