Job Summary:

The General Helper supports daily operations by performing a variety of manual and routine tasks to assist skilled workers, supervisors, or other staff. The role involves maintaining cleanliness, moving materials, assisting in basic maintenance, and ensuring smooth workflow within the workplace.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist skilled workers, technicians, and supervisors in performing assigned tasks.
  • Load, unload, and move materials, equipment, and supplies as directed.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas, tools, and equipment.
  • Follow safety guidelines and report any hazards or incidents immediately.
  • Help with the setup and dismantling of equipment, furniture, or workstations.
  • Support maintenance and repair activities as required.
  • Handle deliveries and ensure proper storage of materials.
  • Perform basic manual labor tasks such as sweeping, lifting, carrying, or cleaning.
  • Follow instructions from supervisors and complete tasks efficiently and accurately.
  • Assist in any other general duties as required by the management.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
  • Previous experience in a similar role is an advantage but not required.
  • Ability to follow instructions and work well in a team environment.
  • Physically fit and able to lift or move heavy items.
  • Basic knowledge of workplace safety procedures.
  • Reliable, punctual, and hardworking attitude.

Working Conditions:

  • May involve standing for long periods, lifting, or working in various environmental conditions (indoor/outdoor).
  • Work schedule may include shifts, weekends, or overtime depending on operational needs.
