Position: General Maintenance Worker

Qualifications:

All new employees start at the entry level. After probation then they move to the appropriate level. The probation period is 90 days. Maintenance employees will respond to work assignments regardless of specific classification as assigned by the maintenance supervisor. Five (5) years of experience.

Performance Responsibilities:

Basic Maintenance knowledge (including the ability to read a tape measure well)

Must have general knowledge of electrical and plumbing systems (including changing light bulbs and water faucet repairs)

Working with sewer cleaning equipment

Operating power equipment (chainsaw, gas-powered concrete saw, tractor, drill press, operate a man lift, etc.)

Safely operate a truck pulling a trailer

Safely operate a truck equipped with a snow plow

Be able to lift at least 75lbs

Work off a ladder without fear of heights

Must be able to change bolts and bearings

Must be able to follow directions, written or verbal

Must be able to work well with other maintenance employees

Must have the ability to maintain the buildings and perform other duties requested
