General Manager

General Manager – Freight Forwarding (Immediate Joiner)

We are looking for an experienced and driven General Manager to lead our freight forwarding division. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in logistics who can oversee operations, deliver business growth, and guide a talented team toward operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategies to achieve revenue and growth targets.
• Build strong relationships with carriers, agents, and key clients.
• Oversee import/export operations, customs clearance, documentation, and final delivery.
• Manage P&L, budgets, pricing, and vendor partnerships.
• Recruit, train, and mentor operational, documentation, and sales teams.
• Ensure compliance with logistics regulations while optimizing operational workflows.
• Monitor KPIs, assess risks, and implement risk management initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field (MBA is a plus).
• 8–12 years of freight forwarding experience, including 4–5 years in a senior leadership role.
• Proven track record in P&L management and driving business growth.
• Excellent industry network with strong negotiation skills.
• In-depth knowledge of global trade lanes and local regulatory requirements.
• Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making abilities.
