General Manager

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced General Manager to oversee our operations and ensure the highest standards of service in our establishment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in hospitality management, with a focus on food preparation and safety. As the General Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team, managing daily operations, and enhancing customer satisfaction while maintaining a profitable business.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the establishment, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Manage staff training programs to enhance team performance and service quality.
• Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to improve efficiency.
• Coordinate food preparation and catering services, ensuring high standards of food quality and safety.
• Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and professional growth.
• Handle customer inquiries and complaints effectively to ensure satisfaction.
• Monitor inventory levels and manage supply orders to maintain kitchen operations.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to promote services and attract new customers.
• Prepare reports on operational performance for upper management review.

Skills

• Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food handling.
• Proven experience in hospitality management, preferably in a restaurant or hotel setting.
• Excellent leadership skills with the ability to train and motivate staff effectively.
• Proficiency in kitchen operations, including food preparation techniques.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in managing multiple tasks.
• Ability to communicate effectively with both staff and customers.
• Experience in catering services is a plus.
• A background as an assistant manager or similar role is advantageous.
