Our Client: In the food and beverage industry. Specifically, Hospitality, QSR & Bakeries.
The Role: The General Manager - QSR based in Qatar, provides strategic leadership and operational oversight for all business areas, driving sustainable growth and ensuring excellence in production, retail, finance, and human resources.
Key Responsibilities:
• Strategic Vision: Develop and execute strategic plans to optimize productivity and growth.
• Operational Excellence: Oversee daily operations, ensuring efficiency, quality, and compliance.
• Financial Stewardship: Manage budgets, analyze performance, and control costs. Improve profitability in a currently break-even situation.
• Talent Leadership: Lead and develop high-performing teams, assuring business continuity. Manage operational and production.
• Brand Management: Communicate the brand vision, protect brand reputation, and drive innovation and new product development while maintaining the brand position. Strong focus on product innovation that engages Gen Z and X.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Build relationships with suppliers, customers, parent company leadership team, and regulatory bodies.
• Quality Management: Manage quality consistency across B2B, hot food, and retail verticals.
• Cultural Leadership: Lead the cultural shift towards structured, process-driven operations.
Must Have:
• 15+ years of experience across food production and multi-unit retail operations.
• Strategic thinker with strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Deep understanding of financial management, supply chain operations, and regulatory compliance.
• Passionate about delivering exceptional customer experiences and upholding brand values.
• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, management, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
• HACCP food safety certifications are preferred.
• Proven achievements in driving innovation and financial profitability.
