Opportunity:

Evolending is a prime operator of specialty automated food & beverage vending at the Boston Logan International Airport. With over 25 kiosks and growing, we have become a sought out vendor for unique and 24/7 food options by BOS's traveler's and airport staff.

Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced General Manager, Airport Kiosk Operations to lead and oversee all aspects of vending kiosk management within an airport environment. This pivotal role involves driving operational excellence, ensuring compliance with food safety standards, and delivering exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive experience in food establishment maintenance and logistics, and multilingual capabilities to effectively communicate across diverse teams.

This role ensures machines are stocked, clean, and functioning properly while maintaining strong food safety standards. The manager coordinates staff, manages inventory, receives deliveries, and ensures smooth operational workflows.

Daily Operations Oversight

  • Manage and schedule Operations Associates.
  • Monitor machine status, alerts, and inventory levels.
  • Review sales trends to identify fast and slow moving items.
  • Communicate operational updates through company systems.
  • Ensure machines remain stocked, clean, and operational.

Inventory & Product Management

  • Plan daily product thawing based on sales and par levels.
  • Maintain FIFO (First-In, First-Out) product rotation.
  • Monitor inventory levels and identify restocking needs.
  • Ensure sufficient product is prepared for machine stocking.

Machine Operations

  • Ensure machines are stocked according to planograms and par levels.
  • Monitor machines throughout the day and refill when needed.
  • Confirm inventory updates correctly within the system.

Machine Maintenance

  • Perform basic troubleshooting
  • Coordinate service vendors when repairs are required.
  • Ensure machines remain customer-ready and fully operational.

Deliveries & Receiving

  • Verify deliveries against invoices.
  • Inspect product condition and quality.
  • Document receiving activities and discrepancies.
  • Store inventory according to food safety standards.

Leadership & Staff Management

  • Train and supervise operations staff.
  • Ensure operational procedures are followed.
  • Provide coaching and operational guidance.
  • Support process improvements.
  • Perform Quality Inspection & Audits

Qualifications

  • Experience in operations, logistics, vending, or food service preferred.
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills.
  • High attention to detail and ability to multitask.
  • Ability to work independently and supervise others.
  • Basic understanding of food safety practices.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
  • Ability to stand or walk for extended periods.
  • Ability to move inventory using hand trucks or carts.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Starting $25/hour starting pay.
  • Paid Time Off.
  • Overtime paid at 1.5x rate.
  • $100 Towards parking per month

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $28.00 per hour
