What you'll do


As General Manager, you will have full P&L ownership and be responsible for the end-to-end performance of the Dubai Mall Online. This role requires an experienced operator with a deep understanding of eCommerce or fashion marketplace operations, including logistics, fulfilment, last-mile delivery, and commercial execution. You will work closely with Product and Technology teams to define and deliver the overall customer value proposition, ensuring the platform experience meets customer expectations, supports retailer success, and aligns with Dubai Mall’s premium positioning.

You will lead cross-functional teams to ensure operational excellence, scalable growth, and a seamless customer and retailer experience across the platform.


Key Responsibilities


  • Own the full vision, strategy, execution, and P&L for Dubai Mall Online
  • Build and scale a category-defining digital retail platform from the ground up
  • Translate ambition into clear priorities, operating plans, and measurable outcomes
  • Lead all functions end to end, including Product, Engineering, Commercial, Operations, Marketing, and Customer Experience
  • Build a world-class organization, hiring and developing exceptional talent
  • Drive retailer growth by acquiring, onboarding, and enabling brands at scale
  • Design simple, repeatable models that allow hundreds of retailers to operate seamlessly on the platform
  • Create fulfilment and logistics models that enable ultra-fast local delivery, regional scale, and global reach
  • Set a new benchmark for customer experience across discovery, checkout, delivery, and returns
  • Build technology and product experiences that deliver a seamless, premium omni-channel journey
  • Use data and insight to continuously improve performance, efficiency, and customer outcomes
  • Serve as the senior operational leader across noon and Dubai Mall stakeholders, ensuring strong governance, transparency, and execution excellence


Qualifications & Experience


  • 12-15+ years of experience across ecommerce, digital platforms, consumer technology, retail, or high-growth businesses
  • Or equivalent experience as a top-performing generalist in management consulting
  • Strong commercial acumen with ownership of performance metrics
  • Experience launching or scaling new businesses, platforms, or major initiatives
  • Proven ability to lead large, cross-functional teams in fast-paced environments
  • Exceptional operator able to turn ambiguity into execution
  • Highly analytical, data-driven, and structured in problem solving
  • Strong judgment balancing growth, efficiency, and customer experience
  • Entrepreneurial, hands-on, and comfortable building before everything is defined
  • High ownership mindset with a clear bias for action
  • Resourceful, resilient, and energized by complexity
  • Curious, bold, and motivated by building something from zero and scaling it fast
