**Job Overview**:

The General Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the company's operations, including staff management, business strategy implementation, budgeting, and achieving financial goals. The GM works to ensure the smooth running of day-to-day business operations, contributing to the overall growth and success of the company. This role specifically requires experience in the **Food & Beverage (F\&B)** industry, as the GM will be leading operations within a food service environment.

### **Key Responsibilities**:

1. **Strategic Leadership**:

* Develop and implement business strategies to achieve company goals within the F\&B industry.

* Provide leadership and direction across various departments, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives.

* Identify new business opportunities and oversee market growth strategies.

2. **Operational Management**:

* Oversee daily operations of the company to ensure efficiency, quality, and productivity in the F\&B sector.

* Manage and optimize company resources (people, finances, equipment) to meet industry-specific standards.

* Ensure smooth implementation of operational systems and processes relevant to the food service industry.

3. **Financial Oversight**:

* Develop and manage the annual budget, ensuring cost control, revenue growth, and profitability in line with F\&B benchmarks.

* Monitor and report financial performance, including profit and loss analysis, with a focus on food cost, labor cost, and other key industry metrics.

* Establish performance metrics and KPIs tailored to F\&B operations.

4. **Team Management**:

* Lead, mentor, and develop department heads and other key staff members, particularly in F\&B-related roles such as chefs, waitstaff, and front-of-house management.

* Ensure employee performance aligns with company objectives and industry standards.

* Foster a positive work culture and handle any employee-related issues, ensuring high morale and job satisfaction within the F\&B context.

5. **Customer Relations**:

* Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, suppliers, stakeholders, and partners within the F\&B industry.

* Address customer concerns and complaints regarding food quality, service, and overall experience to ensure satisfaction and retention.

* Ensure the company is delivering high-quality products and services that meet or exceed industry standards.

6. **Compliance and Risk Management**:

* Ensure compliance with industry regulations, food safety laws, and company policies.

* Identify and mitigate risks specific to F\&B operations, such as health and safety concerns, supply chain disruptions, and labor shortages.

* Maintain a safe, hygienic, and compliant working environment.

7. **Reporting and Analysis**:

* Regularly report to the executive team on company performance, goals, and challenges within the context of F\&B operations.

* Utilize data and analytics to make informed decisions specific to food service operations.

* Provide recommendations for operational improvements based on performance analysis and industry trends.

### **Required Qualifications**:

* Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or related field (Master's degree preferred).

* Proven experience as a General Manager or in a senior management position within the **Food & Beverage (F\&B)** industry (typically 5+ years).

* Strong understanding of F\&B operations, including kitchen management, service quality, and supply chain logistics.

* Strong understanding of corporate finance and performance management principles.

* Experience in strategic planning, business development, and brand growth within the F\&B industry.

* Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

* Ability to build consensus and relationships among executives, partners, and employees.

* In-depth knowledge of corporate governance, performance management, and industry regulations.
