General Manager - Finance

We are looking for a General Manager - Finance for a Halal certification body in Karachi.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement financial strategies, budgets, and forecasts aligned with business objectives.
• Oversee all financial operations including accounting, treasury, budgeting, audit, and taxation.
• Lead financial planning and analysis (FP&A) to support management decisions and performance tracking.
• Manage cash flow, working capital, and investment strategies to ensure financial stability.
• Ensure compliance with statutory laws, financial regulations, and internal controls.
• Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports to the Board and CEO.
• Coordinate with internal and external auditors for timely audits and ensure proper financial governance.
• Lead ERP implementation and continuous process improvements in finance systems.
• Monitor cost controls, profitability, and return on investment across business units.
• Provide financial insights for strategic projects, business expansions, and capital investments.
• Supervise and mentor finance teams to ensure high performance and accountability.

Key Skills & Competencies:

• Chartered Accountant (CA) qualified
• Strong understanding of corporate finance, accounting standards (IFRS), and taxation.
• Proven experience in financial planning, risk management, and reporting.
• Strategic thinker with strong analytical and decision-making skills.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficiency in ERP systems and advanced Excel / financial modeling tools.
