A leading insurance services firm in Bahrain is seeking an experienced General Manager to oversee overall operations, client services, underwriting, claims, marketing, and staff management. The ideal candidate will drive business growth, enhance client satisfaction, and ensure operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage underwriting, claims, and client service teams.
  • Develop and implement marketing strategies to attract new clients.
  • Negotiate policy terms and pricing with insurance providers.
  • Advise clients on insurance solutions, risk management, and claims processes.
  • Maintain strong client relationships and handle complex inquiries.
  • Manage staff performance, training, and workload distribution.
  • Ensure compliance with Bahrain’s insurance regulations.
  • Monitor and manage budgets, revenue, and operational costs.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or related field.
  • ACII qualification preferred.
  • Minimum 6 years of managerial experience in the insurance industry.
  • Strong knowledge of local and international insurance products.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and negotiation skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office and basic accounting software.
