Job Responsibilites:


  • Lead the implementation of livelihood restoration plans and all related activities to ensure their proper execution in line with the community development plan.
  • Lead coordination and communication efforts with all internal stakeholders (planning, research, and operations) and external stakeholders, as needed, to correct any deviations in community development activities that impact the livelihood restoration of affected communities during implementation.
  • Lead efforts to identify gaps between the property transfer plan, the community development plan, and actual project implementation, and escalate any deviations to key stakeholders to ensure that affected individuals not only rebuild their lives but also live better lives.
  • Lead compliance efforts for all projects with international standards and communicate requirements through the application of appropriate tools.
  • Escalate social risks and develop plans to mitigate, overcome, or relocate them.
  • Evaluate incoming social grievances and communications (social or property transfer) and ensure they are directed to the appropriate authority for resolution.
  • Monitor the performance of social surveys and the quality of implementation, and ensure the resolution and escalation of implementation obstacles.
  • Documenting lessons learned related to community development activities and issuing related reports.
  • Measuring periodic and final social impact by comparing baselines for those affected before and after relocation according to the approved plan, applying the theory of change, and analyzing gaps in restoring and improving living standards.
  • Developing a mechanism and scope for measuring beneficiary satisfaction.
  • Analyzing reports and discrepancies between satisfaction measurements, grievances, impact measurements, and compliance with international standards.
  • Providing appropriate periodic and final recommendations to enhance the effectiveness of development activities in restoring living standards and monitoring the implementation of recommendations and corrective plans.


Job Requirments:

  • Bachelor's degree in Social Sciences, Statistics, Business Administration, Engineering, or any other related field.
  • 14+ years of experience in the field.
  • Strong skills in social development and strategy and decision making.
