General Manager - Procurement

Objective of Position

• Cost effective Purchasing of Imported & Key Raw materials, Packaging Materials & Engineering Imports.
• Ensuring Security of Supply & uninterupted Production at Mfg Sites.
• Cash flow Improvement for Organisation.

KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS

• Procurement Planning ( Annual / Monthly / Weekly)
• Vendor Development & Rating ( Cost & Supply Security) Direct / Supportive
• Ensure timely and cost effective procurement of Raw materials, Utilities & services
• Inventoty Control & Management within Budgets
• Evaluation and analysis of vendors and suppliers for quality, quantity, timeliness and costing
• Market intelligence and price forecasting
• Working closely with planner for ensuring just in time supplies
• Hedging based on risks linked to pricing, raw materials availability, logistics and geo-political situations
• Identifing alternate packaging materials in order bring down overall cost of procurement without impacting
• quality
• Analyze and calculate costs of procurement and Implement methods to decrease expenditure
