Key Responsibilities:
1. Production Planning & Control
-
Develop and implement monthly and daily production plans as per sales targets and delivery schedules.

Monitor progress and ensure adherence to timelines.
-
Coordinate with PPC, Purchase, and Design departments for smooth workflow.
2. Operations Management
-
Oversee all production units and ensure optimum utilization of manpower, machines, and materials.

Implement lean manufacturing practices and process improvement initiatives.
-
Ensure adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs) across departments.
3. Quality & Compliance
-
Maintain quality standards as per company norms.
-
Coordinate with QA/QC teams to minimize rework and rejection.

Ensure all compliance and safety norms are followed in the plant.
4. Team Management

Lead, train, and motivate production managers, supervisors, and operators.

Monitor team performance and ensure productivity targets are met.

Promote a culture of accountability, discipline, and teamwork.
5. Cost & Resource Optimization
-
Monitor production costs, wastage, and downtime; implement cost-control measures.

Drive initiatives to improve machine efficiency and reduce idle time.
6. Reporting & Coordination
-
Prepare and present production reports, MIS, and performance dashboards to management.

Coordinate with Maintenance, HR, and Supply Chain for operational needs.
7. Continuous Improvement
-
Identify bottlenecks and implement process improvements.

Introduce automation and new technologies where applicable.

Drive 5S, Kaizen, and TPM practices.
Qualifications & Experience:
- B.Tech / B.E. Mechanical, Industrial, or Production Engineering.
-
15–20 years of experience in manufacturing, with at least 5 years in a senior production leadership role.

Strong knowledge of production planning, manpower management, and lean manufacturing.

Hands-on with
ERP systems
and manufacturing analytics.
