Context/Scope:
The Make Productivity role supports productivity improvements and continuous improvement across all manufacturing sites. The role involves identification and execution of cost-saving projects, performance tracking. It requires coordination with unit teams, finance, and other enabling functions to ensure alignment and validation of savings.
The role is a key enabler of the manufacturing strategy by driving operational efficiency, lean execution, and sustainable cost reduction.
Purpose of Position
To lead productivity project implementation across units, monitor pipeline performance, support cultural transformation, and ensure high-quality data tracking and reporting aligned with global systems. This role will act as a key driver of analytics-based decision-making for manufacturing cost optimization.

- Identify and recommend productivity improvement areas.
- Define and monitor productivity metrics and project milestones.
- Prepare the business cases along with the unit teams
- Suggest cost-saving projects with business cases.
- Recommend lean and capability building initiatives aligned to site maturity.
- Category wise cost analysis and recommendations to align the company strategy
Financial Accountability (Budget/Revenue)
Responsible for tracking and influencing productivity project savings across all manufacturing sites.
- Support validation of business cases and alignment with AOP targets.
- Work closely with finance and site teams to ensure accurate savings delivery.

Market / Function Complexity
- Multi-site operations across geographies with varied cost structures.
- Cross-functional stakeholder alignment required with operations, engineering, finance, procurement, and sustainability teams.
- Need for deep understanding of cost drivers, automation, and lean principles to ensure scalability and standardization of improvement projects.
Leadership Responsibilities
- Drive culture of continuous improvement across units.
- Build capabilities of site teams through structured training and workshops.
- Influence change without direct authority across multiple levels in the organization.
- Provide project governance and support on lean, TPM, and six sigma deployments.
Qualifications and Experience Required

Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical / Production / Industrial)
- Master’s in Supply Chain, Engineering
- Lean Six sigma Certification
- 10-12 years of experience in a manufacturing/operations excellence role
- Exposure to TPM, Six Sigma, or WCM systems
- Proficiency in data analysis and performance tracking
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in MS Excel, Power BI, or other data tools
- Financial acumen in cost driver analysis
- Effective communication and stakeholder engagement
- Ability to drive projects across functions and geographies
- Self-motivated with strong execution discipline
