Responsibilities
- Lead and manage all restaurant operations, including food preparation, service delivery, and staff supervision to ensure smooth and efficient daily performance.
- Oversee inventory control, food safety compliance, and food handling procedures to uphold the highest standards of quality and hygiene.
- Supervise kitchen management, food production, and catering services, ensuring timely delivery of orders across casual dining, quick service, or banquet settings.
- Manage POS systems such as Toast POS for accurate cash handling, sales tracking, and reporting.
- Recruit, train, develop, and evaluate staff through effective interviewing, training & development programs, fostering a motivated team environment.
- Monitor budgeting activities and control costs related to food management, labor, and supplies while maximizing profitability.
- Ensure excellent customer service by addressing guest concerns promptly and maintaining a positive dining experience.
- Oversee shift management and coordinate with bar staff or coffee service teams where applicable to optimize restaurant flow.
Experience
- Proven management experience in a fast-paced restaurant environment with supervisory responsibilities.
- Extensive knowledge of food preparation techniques, culinary processes, and kitchen management.
- Hands-on experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for transaction processing and reporting.
- Strong background in food safety standards, inventory control, cash handling, and food industry regulations.
- Demonstrated leadership skills in team management, staff training & development, and performance evaluation.
- Experience working in casual dining or fine dining settings; banquet or catering experience is a plus.
- Familiarity with budgeting processes within hospitality operations along with excellent customer service skills. Pay: $69,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
