General Manager, Warehouse Operations
A rapidly expanding, tech-forward third-party logistics provider is upgrading from a 50 K sq ft site to a brand-new 200 K sq ft flagship facility in the Inland Empire. The founders need a hands-on operations leader who can build culture, processes, and results while steering daily e-commerce fulfillment that already tops 2 000-3 000 direct-to-consumer orders per day - plus seasonally variable B2B projects such as retail kitting and value-add assembly. Focus:

Team & Culture Leadership – Lead, coach, and develop 30-50 associates, supervisors, and leads, creating a culture of accountability, cleanliness, and continuous improvement

Daily Fulfillment Execution – Oversee inbound, inventory, pick-pack-ship, value-add, and outbound workflows to meet stringent service-level agreements for priority e-commerce brands

Labor & Resource Planning – Flex staffing during peak seasons and align resources when top clients require last-minute changes

Process Improvement & KPI Ownership – Drive initiatives that raise throughput, accuracy, and labor efficiency while monitoring cost-per-order and SLA performance.

Technology Enablement – Champion a modern WMS (ShipHero or similar), RF scanning, and SaaS productivity tools on the floor

Safety & Compliance – Maintain OSHA standards and a tour-ready facility.

Hiring & Workforce Planning – Own recruiting, onboarding, scheduling, and performance management, with the autonomy to restructure the team as needed
Skill Set:

5+ years leading 30-50+ employees in a structured warehouse or e-commerce fulfillment environment

Demonstrated success building engaged, high-performing warehouse cultures.

Deep understanding of receiving, inventory control, high-volume pick-pack, and value-add services that support online brands

Comfort with modern WMS, RF scanning, and data-driven decision-making; ShipHero familiarity is a plus

Excellent communication and coaching skills; bilingual English/Spanish helpful
