JOB Description – Doctor (General Physician)

A Medical Doctor (MBBS) working in a university setting will primarily focus on providing healthcare services to students and staff, their responsibilities include diagnosing and treating illnesses, conducting routine check-ups, providing preventive care, and maintaining patients records and contribute to the overall health and well-being of the university community.

Key Responsibilities:

Patient Care:

· Conducting medical examinations and assessments to diagnose and treat illnesses, injuries, and other medical conditions.

· Prescribing and administering medications, therapies, and treatments.

· Providing preventive care, including health education and vaccinations.

· Maintaining accurate and detailed patient records.

· Referring patients to specialists when necessary.

Health Promotion:

· Developing and implementing health promotion programs and initiatives for students and staff.

· Educating the university community on various health topics.

· Promoting healthy lifestyles and behaviours.

· May be involved in administrative tasks related to the university's health services, such as managing patient records, ordering supplies, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.

Qualifications:

· MBBS degree from a recognized medical school.

· Valid medical license (Registered Medical Practitioner) to practice as an MBBS Doctor.

· Strong clinical and diagnostic skills.

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

· Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.

· Commitment to providing high-quality patient care.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contractual / Temporary

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
