Principal AI Developer: Generative Models (Full-time, Lahore)

We are seeking a highly specialized and experienced Principal AI Developer to focus entirely on Generative AI. This role requires 3-5 years of focused experience in AI development, specifically with models capable of creating new content and solutions.

You will be the core contributor responsible for the end-to-end process—designing, developing, optimizing, and deploying advanced generative models into our products to deliver significant user value.

Key Responsibilities1. Generative Model Development & Research

• Core Development: Design, develop, and meticulously optimize advanced generative AI solutions, including models for Natural Language Processing (NLP) and Image Generation.
• Algorithm Expertise: Implement sophisticated generative algorithms using techniques like GPT (Generative Pre-trained Transformer), VAE (Variational Autoencoders), and GANs (Generative Adversarial Networks).
• Innovation: Maintain a competitive edge by conducting continuous research into the latest advancements in deep learning and generative AI, identifying strategic integration opportunities.

2. Implementation and Performance Engineering

• Frameworks: Build robust algorithms using industry-leading frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, Keras, and OpenAI libraries.
• Validation: Rigorously test and validate model performance through empirical experiments, iteratively refining models for efficiency and reliability.
• Translation: Work closely with product managers to translate complex business needs into scalable, efficient, and reliable technical solutions.

3. Engineering Excellence and Collaboration

• Project Alignment: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define AI project requirements, ensuring technical goals align perfectly with overall business strategy.
• Best Practices: Actively participate in code reviews, establish engineering best practices for AI development, and maintain comprehensive technical documentation.
• Ethics: Stay current with the ethical considerations in AI, proactively implementing strategies for bias mitigation.

Required Expertise and Qualifications

• Experience: 3-5 years of progressive AI development experience, with a strong, focused background in generative models.
• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, AI, Data Science, or a related technical field.
• Core Skills:
• Programming: Deep proficiency in Python.
• Frameworks: Extensive hands-on experience with TensorFlow, PyTorch, Keras, and OpenAI libraries.
• Model Expertise: Proven experience developing and implementing GPT, VAE, and GANs.
• Deployment & Engineering: Experience using Cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) to manage and deploy AI models in production, along with familiarity with version control (Git).
• Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving, strong communication, and collaborative abilities, with a focus on ethical AI development.
