Generator Operator / Supervisor

Devsinc is looking for an experienced Generator Operator/Supervisor to manage and oversee the operation and maintenance of generator systems. This role involves ensuring the reliable performance of generators, supervising a team of operators, and implementing best practices in safety and maintenance.

• Supervise daily operations of generator systems to ensure optimal performance
• Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance on generators, including fluid checks and filter replacements
• Oversee troubleshooting and repair activities for generator-related issues
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations in all operations
• Manage fuel consumption and storage, and maintain accurate records of usage
• Train and mentor junior operators on equipment handling, safety procedures, and operational guidelines
• Coordinate emergency response and recovery actions in case of generator failure
• Implement improvements to enhance efficiency and reliability of generator operations
  
  

Requirements

• Education: Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent
• Minimum 5-7 years of experience
• Hands-on experience with high capacity generators (up to 1500 KVA)
• Strong knowledge of DSE (Deep Sea Electronics)
• Proven experience in synchronization of multiple generators, load management, and operation of ATS/AMS panels
• Familiarity with major generator brands such as Cummins DAE Electrical / Mechanical
• Strong knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems
• Troubleshooting and problem solving ability
• Expertise in performing preventive & periodic maintenance
