Job Title: Geotechnical Engineer

Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Geotechnical Engineer to lead site investigations, perform design and analysis, and ensure delivery of high-quality geotechnical solutions across infrastructure and construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead geotechnical site investigations (borehole logging, sampling, in-situ testing)
• Perform geotechnical design and analysis (foundations, slopes, retaining structures, ground improvement)
• Validate field data and prepare technical reports
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, and laboratories
• Oversee soil, rock, and groundwater testing and ensure compliance with standards
• Assess geotechnical risks and recommend mitigation measures
• Manage project schedules, budgets, and resources
• Ensure compliance with ASTM, BS, Eurocodes, and QA/QC procedures
• Support audits (ISO and internal) and maintain quality standards
• Provide technical guidance to junior engineers and site teams
• Assist in proposal preparation and client relationship management

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering (Master’s preferred)
• Minimum 6 years of relevant experience in geotechnical engineering
• Experience in large-scale infrastructure or construction projects
• Strong knowledge of site investigation, lab testing, and international standards
• Proficiency in geotechnical software (gINT, PLAXIS, GeoStudio)
• GCC/Qatar experience is a plus
