GHG Emissions Expert / Carbon Accounting Consultant

The Role

We seek an individual with a deep understanding of carbon accounting and the GHG protocol to help guide our efforts in this vital area.

In this role, you will:

• Bring your expertise in corporate greenhouse gas accounting, particularly the Greenhouse Gas Protocol standards.
• Provide in-depth knowledge of climate targets and climate change-related programs like CDP and the Glasgow Financial Alliance for Net Zero.
• Act as a subject matter expert in carbon accounting and GHG inventory strategy.
• Advise organizations on material GHGP categories relevant to their business and guide them through various carbon accounting methodologies.
• Hold certifications from standard setters like WRI, ISO, GHGP, SBTi, TCFD, VRF, etc.
• Demonstrate strong business acumen, able to present technical information effectively to diverse stakeholders.
• Collaborate across multi-functional teams, managing competing priorities and delivering key objectives within time constraints.
• Offer expertise in GHGP, PCAF, and SBTi.
• Have experience in creating GHG inventories and disclosures, as well as audit and assurance engagements.
• Exhibit excellent communication, relationship management, and decision-making skills.
