  Job Title: Program Manager (Technical) Overall Experience: 7-12 years Relevant Experience: 5+ years of experience in a Project Management role, with proven expertise in leading and delivering projects, preferably large-scale infrastructure or DevOps projects. Job Summary: A Technical Project Manager is responsible for planning, executing, and overseeing the migration project to ensure it is completed on time, within scope, budget, and meets business goals. This role acts as the key liaison between technical teams, stakeholders, and business units, ensuring smooth coordination and clear communication throughout the migration lifecycle. Key Responsibilities: • Plan, organize, and manage the end-to-end migration from Perforce to GitHub, including scope, timeline, and resource allocation. • Develop detailed project plans, schedules, budgets, and risk mitigation strategies tailored to migration activities. • Coordinate cross-functional teams comprising developers, DevOps engineers, QA, and architects involved in the migration. • Develop and maintain client-facing dashboards and reports that provide transparency into project progress, resource allocation, risks, and issue resolution. • Facilitate communication between technical and non-technical stakeholders to align expectations and resolve blockers. • Oversee the preparation, testing, and validation phases of the migration ensuring data integrity, commit history preservation, and permission mapping. • Manage change control, release management, and documentation processes related to migration. • Ensure adherence to best practices in project management methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, or Kanban. • Drive post-migration reviews, continuous improvement initiatives, and knowledge transfer within the organization. • Manage vendor relationships and third-party tool integrations used for migration. • Support training and onboarding of teams to new GitHub workflows and processes post-migration.
