Global Accountant

We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically proficient Global Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate should be an ACCA or ICMA Finalist with strong technical accounting knowledge and hands-on experience using modern accounting tools.
This role involves managing day-to-day accounting operations, preparing financial reports, ensuring compliance with applicable standards, and supporting the month-end and year-end close processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, ledgers, and journals
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with IFRS or local GAAP
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
• Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable functions
• Ensure timely and accurate processing of payroll and statutory filings
• Coordinate with auditors for annual and interim audits
• Support internal control improvements and policy development
• Assist in implementing and improving financial systems and procedures

Requirements

• ACCA or ICMA Finalist (preferred)
• Minimum 03-05 years Experience
• Strong technical accounting skills with a solid understanding of IFRS/GAAP
• Proficiency in QuickBooks, MYOB, Odoo, and Xero – Must have
• Exceptional attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy
• Good understanding of tax compliance and reporting requirements
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, lookups, and financial modeling
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines under pressure
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
