Global Head of Products - TerraPay

Location: Dubai

Reporting to: Chief Executive Officer (CEO)

Role Overview

As Global Head of Products, you will architect TerraPay's global product vision, strategy, and execution. You will be responsible for driving innovation, transformation, and growth across all product lines. You will shape the future of cross-border, mobile-first, and embedded financial services, while also championing internal product platforms that empower TerraPay's workforce. As a member of the Executive Leadership Team, you will influence company direction, own global product P&L, and represent TerraPay's product leadership to the board, investors, and the industry.

Key Responsibilities

1. Strategic Leadership & Vision

  • Define, communicate, and execute a bold, multi-year product strategy aligned with TerraPay's mission and growth objectives.
  • Lead the transformation of TerraPay's product portfolio, identifying new market opportunities, driving category leadership, and setting industry standards.
  • Serve as the executive sponsor for product innovation, digital transformation, and ecosystem partnerships.

2. Portfolio Ownership & P&L Accountability

  • Own the global product portfolio, including Wallet Interoperability, SWIFT-based solutions, Travel Cards, White-Label Platforms, and future offerings.
  • Full accountability for product P&L, investment decisions, capital allocation, and portfolio optimization.
  • Drive pricing, monetization, and business model innovation to maximize ROI, margin, and market share.

3. Internal Product Strategy & Workforce Enablement

  • Develop and execute a vision for TerraPay's internal product platforms, tools, and systems that make work easier, more efficient, and more impactful for the global workforce.
  • Champion the creation and continuous improvement of internal solutions for operations, compliance, analytics, and collaboration.
  • Identify opportunities to white-label internal platforms and tools, extending their value to partners, clients, and external markets.

4. Product Development & Market Expertise

  • Lead the end-to-end lifecycle of new product development - from ideation to launch & building products from the ground up.
  • Ensure product-market fit and scalability across diverse geographies and customer segments.
  • Bring deep expertise in cross-border payments , with hands-on experience of launching and scaling products in European and American markets .

5. Executive Influence & Stakeholder Management

  • Represent product strategy and performance at board meetings, investor communications, and industry forums.
  • Collaborate closely with the CEO, CFO, CTO, and other Executive members to align product strategy with company-wide objectives.
  • Build and nurture strategic relationships with key partners, regulators, and customers globally.

6. Organizational Leadership & Talent Development

  • Lead, inspire, and scale a high-performing global product organization across multiple geographies and functions.
  • Design and implement organizational structures, competency frameworks, and talent development programs to build a world-class product team.
  • Foster a culture of ownership, entrepreneurship, experimentation, and continuous improvement.

7. Innovation, Compliance & Differentiation

  • Champion the development of API-first, scalable platforms with high interoperability, speed, and reliability.
  • Embed compliance and regulatory intelligence as core product differentiators, integrating real-time KYC/AML and global frameworks.
  • Drive a culture of innovation, leveraging data, technology, and customer insights to deliver market-leading solutions.

Qualifications & Experience

  • 20+ years of progressive product leadership experience in fintech, payments, or digital financial services, with at least 5 years in an executive role.
  • Proven track record of launching products from scratch and scaling them globally.
  • Deep expertise in cross-border payments, especially in European and American markets.
  • Proven ownership of global product portfolios, P&L, and transformational change.
  • Experience building and scaling internal product platforms and white-labelling solutions.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence at board/executive level and represent the company externally.
  • Experience leading large, diverse, cross-functional teams across multiple countries.
