AGOL Worldwide is a time critical freight forwarder and global trade services company serving three key niches. Automotive. Information Technology. Aviation. This role sits in our Global Trade department focused on compliance and IOR EOR coordination for IT shipments.

About the role
We need a proactive coordinator who enjoys customer service and international problem solving. You will work with overseas agents, read country regulations using trusted sources and approved AI tools such as ChatGPT, and keep customers informed about their cargo. This is a great entry level role for someone with strong English and geography skills plus some logistics experience.

What you will do

  • Communicate daily with overseas agents and brokers to obtain customs status and release updates for imports and exports
  • Call and email customers with clear shipment updates and next steps
  • Research country specific customs requirements and summarize findings for the team with sources noted
  • Support IOR and EOR setups and document collection for IT hardware moves including invoices, packing lists, serial lists, and statements
  • Track and trace shipments and escalate holds, exams, delays, and flight changes
  • Keep accurate notes and records organized for audits and customer requests
  • Coordinate with airlines, truckers, and warehouse teams for pickups, deliveries, and recoveries
  • Help improve simple SOP checklists, templates, and customer status emails
  • Follow compliance guidelines and protect customer confidentiality

What you bring

  • Very good English writing and speaking for professional calls and clean customer emails
  • Solid world geography knowledge including major airports, time zones, and regions
  • Customer service experience in any industry and some exposure to logistics, freight forwarding, air cargo, or ecommerce fulfillment
  • Comfort researching regulations and summarizing key points in plain language
  • Strong organization, attention to detail, and reliable follow through
  • Proficiency with Outlook and Excel
  • Eligibility to work in the United States

Nice to have

  • Spanish or Portuguese
  • Familiarity with Incoterms, HS codes, AES, ACE, and basic customs concepts
  • Experience with a TMS such as Magaya, CargoWise, Linbis, or similar

Schedule and pay
Full time Monday to Friday. This role is fully on site in Miami
Compensation range 18 to 24 per hour or 40,000 to 50,000 per year depending on experience plus performance based bonuses
