GM Construction

We are seeking a highly experienced and disciplined General Manager – Construction to lead and oversee our construction operations. The ideal candidate will be a retired Major or Colonel from the Armed Forces, bringing strong leadership, strategic planning, and execution capabilities to manage large-scale construction projects efficiently, safely, and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide overall leadership and strategic direction for all construction operations
• Plan, execute, and monitor construction projects from inception to completion
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget
• Oversee project planning, resource allocation, procurement, and scheduling
• Enforce strict compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards
• Lead, mentor, and manage project managers, engineers, and site teams
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, and government authorities
• Review project progress reports and implement corrective actions when required
• Manage risk assessment, crisis handling, and conflict resolution at project sites
• Drive continuous improvement in operational efficiency and cost control

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Retired Major or Colonel from the Army / Armed Forces (mandatory)
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (preferred)
• Minimum 15–20 years of leadership experience, preferably in construction, engineering, or infrastructure projects
• Proven experience managing large teams and multi-site operations
• Strong command over discipline, planning, execution, and compliance
• Excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making skills

Preferred Skills

• Strong understanding of construction methodologies and project controls
• Ability to manage high-pressure situations and tight deadlines
• Experience in infrastructure, roads, buildings, or defense-related projects
• High integrity, accountability, and result-oriented mindset
