Golden Sunlight - Assay Lab Technician

Our people division is growing, and we are looking for an Assay Laboratory Technician at our Golden Sunlight Mine site.

Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will work safely around laboratory and process equipment and various regiments; perform sampling in the mill and at stockpiles; prepare samples, including weighing samples and entering data into spreadsheets/ and work with assay equipment and instrumentation; perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Minimum one (1) year experience in laboratory environment preferred

• Familiarity with chemicals and laboratory procedures preferred

• Ability to work with minimal supervision and prioritize a heavy workload required

• Ability to communicate effectively with peers in a team environment required

• Experience with computer operations required

• Proven safety and attendance record required

• Ability to lift and carry 50 pounds required

• Ability to walk on uneven ground in all weather conditions required

• Ability to perform the essential functions of this position required
