The Prospective Group (TPG) is seeking a Governance Analyst PAC PMO (Performance Accountability Council Program Management Office) is to serve as the central coordinating body for driving forward the U.S. Government’s personnel vetting reform agenda, particularly under the Trusted Workforce 2.0 (TW 2.0) initiative.
Position Responsibilities:
The Governance Analyst provides leadership and expertise in developing, implementing, and maintaining effective governance for TW 2.0 reform efforts. They adhere to established policy and procedures, maintain regular cadence with the PAC PMO governing bodies, identify risks and issues, recognize follow-on actions, and communicate relevant information back to the PAC PMO team. This role often involves collaborating with various teams to include external organizations, conducting risk assessments, developing and implementing controls, and communicating effectively between the PAC PMO and its governing bodies. The analyst’s main responsibilities will include:
- Leadership: Lead and motivate a team, manage conflicts, and drive organizational change.
- Self-Driven: Take initiative to identify program needs and demonstrate the ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision. Identify action items and follow through to ensure that actions are addressed. Ensure action items are appropriately captured in Azure DevOps (or superseding management tool, as appropriate)
- Project Management: Strong project management skills, including the ability to manage timelines, resources, and deliverables.
- Strategic Planning and Analysis: Develop and implement strategic plans, analyze data, and make informed decisions.
- Artifact Development: Planning, drafting, finalizing, and reviewing meeting artifacts to include papers, agendas, presentations, etc. in relation to personnel vetting reform for key stakeholders across the federal government.
- Detail Oriented: Robust attention to detail, ensuring grammar and format is clear and consistent. Complete thorough review of drafted and completed products to ensure a quality product is delivered.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills are necessary to convey information clearly and effectively to various stakeholders.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are needed to address challenges and find effective solutions.
- Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including senior management, clients, and partners, is important.
- Adaptability: Adjust to changing circumstances and new information is crucial in a dynamic environment.
Position Requirements:
- Experience 7+ years of experience
- Requires strong verbal communication skills to facilitate the development of agendas for the various PAC PMO governance bodies as well as to communicate follow-on actions for the PAC PMO team and/or for future discussions at one or more governance meetings.
- The candidate must be proficient with Microsoft products such as Word, Excel, MS Project, and MS Visio, to develop and present deliverables to stakeholders and senior leaders.
- Requires familiarity with Agile processes and Azure DevOps to manage assigned tasks for themselves and fellow team members.
Education Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related subject (e.g., business, engineering, etc.)
