Government Relations Officer

We are looking for Government Relations Officer acts as the key liaison between Boutiqaat and various governmental authorities. This role ensures compliance with Kuwait’s labor laws and other regulations, facilitates the processing of visas, work permits, and licenses, and resolves procedural issues with relevant government departments.

The officer must maintain strong relationships with public agencies to streamline company operations and represent Boutiqaat professionally in all official matters.

What You'll Be Doing:

· Develop and maintain strong relationships with government entities including labor, immigration, municipalities, embassies, and more.

· Process and manage documentation for visas, work permits, residency renewals, and ID cards.

· Ensure compliance with all labor laws, regulations, and licensing requirements.

· Monitor government updates and communicate policy changes internally.

· Oversee employee-related legal matters and documentation.

· Prepare official forms, letters, and reports for government processes.

· Renew and manage company documents (e.g., Establishment Card, Civil Defense license).

· Handle daily issues related to government procedures, including traffic department and customs.

· Maintain accurate records and generate reports as needed.

What You Bring to the Table:

• bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Government Relations or a related function.
• Solid understanding of GR process and knowledge of Kuwait labor law, visa procedures, and local government regulations.
• Proficiency in MS Office, internet research, and document management systems.
• Strong skills in document control and record-keeping.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills in dealing with government entities.
• Self-motivated, highly organized, and capable of working independently.
