As our Government Relations Officer, you'll be the bridge between Capital.com and key UAE government entities, ensuring smooth, compliant, and timely processes that keep our people and operations moving. With our rapid regional expansion and growing workforce, this role is crucial in maintaining compliance and safeguarding our business continuity. You'll handle complex documentation and regulatory requirements, helping Capital.com operate with integrity and agility across the UAE. Your work ensures that our people stay focused on what matters most, driving innovation and growth in a trusted, compliant environment.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the full range of visa processes for employees and dependents, including renewal, cancellation, mission, family, and Golden Visas, ensuring compliance with UAE labour and immigration laws.
  • Coordinate effectively with relevant government departments to process applications, obtain approvals, and resolve issues efficiently.
  • Manage Emirates ID registration, medical testing, and related onboarding steps, ensuring all employees complete legal and procedural requirements on time.
  • Handle attestation and legalization through MOFA and other relevant authorities, maintaining the validity and authenticity of employee documentation.
  • Facilitate Power of Attorney, Notary Public, and other legal documentation for employee or company matters.
  • Maintain accurate internal trackers and data reports for all visa and government transactions, giving HR clear visibility into timelines, renewals, and compliance status.
  • Communicate proactively with employees and HR about document requirements, expected processing times, and any updates or delays.
  • Resolve procedural or timing issues swiftly by liaising directly with relevant authorities to prevent workflow disruptions.
  • Advise HR on accurate process timelines and regulatory nuances to support onboarding, transfers, and exits.
  • Monitor regulatory changes and translate them into clear, actionable guidance for HR and leadership teams.
  • Collaborate with HR, Finance, and Legal to ensure documentation, audits, and reporting meet UAE standards and internal compliance requirements.
  • Support all licensing-related activities as required, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and maintaining effective coordination with relevant authorities.
