Summary : We are seeking an experienced Government Sales Manager to join our dynamic sales team.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record in managing government accounts, generating

leads, and driving sales growth within the public sector. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong

relationship-building skills and a deep understanding of government procurement processes.


Key Responsibilities:


Account Management:

 Develop and maintain strong relationships with key government stakeholders.

 Manage and grow existing government accounts, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction

and retention.

 Understand client needs and provide tailored solutions to meet their requirements.

Lead Generation:

 Identify and generate new leads within government entities at the federal, state, and local

levels.

 Utilize various tools and strategies, including networking, attending industry events, and

leveraging social media, to source new opportunities.

 Qualify leads to ensure alignment with the company's strategic goals.

Sales Strategy and Execution:

 Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve sales targets and expand the

company's presence in the government sector.

 Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals to government clients.

 Negotiate and close sales contracts, ensuring compliance with government regulations and

procurement guidelines.


Qualifications:

 Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Public Administration, or a related field. MBA

preferred.

 Minimum of 6 years of sales experience, with at least 5 years focused on government

accounts.

 Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets within the government sector

 Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with government officials and stakeholders

 Ability to travel as require
