Govt. Relation Officers

Responsibilities and Duties:

Government Liaison & Stakeholder Management

· Develop and maintain strong, active & positive working relationships with:

Ministries, Public Offices, local administration, all commissioner Offices, law enforcement agencies & other Govt. & semi-autonomous bodies etc

· Act as the primary focal person for all Government institutions.

· Represent the company in meetings, forums, and official engagements.

· Ensure timely execution of all government-related matters.

Regulatory Compliance & Licensing

· Manage licenses, permits, NOCs, and regulatory approvals (e.g., sites, infrastructure rollout).

· Ensure compliance with telecom laws, policies, and statutory requirements.

· Coordinate with internal Legal/Compliance teams for renewals and filings.

Policy Monitoring & Advisory

· Track developments in, Telecom regulations, Digital policies, Taxation & infrastructure laws.

· Analyze & report impact on business and provide actionable recommendations.

· To provide support in Government inspections and audits.

· Support coordination for Lawful data requests.

· Monitor the safety & security of the staff & train them on certain travel advisories.

Documentation & Reporting

· Draft Official letters, memos, regulatory submissions, briefing/meeting notes.

· Maintain Database of government contacts.

· Record of approvals, correspondence, and compliance status.

· Prepare required reports for Senior management.

Requirements:

·Min Bachelor’s, Master’s (preferred) degree in Public Administration / Law / Political Science / IR / Business / or a related discipline from a reputable institute is required.

· Any Industrial Relation certifications are highly preferred.

· Minimum 6 – 7 years of proven work experience in the related field.
