Graduate Engineer

Role Purpose

The Graduate Technical Engineer supports the technical and design coordination aspects of infrastructure projects, ensuring that drawings, specifications, and technical submissions are reviewed, coordinated, and aligned with project and client requirements. The role provides structured exposure to design management and technical engineering functions within an infrastructure contractor environment.

Key Accountabilities

• Assist with review and coordination of design drawings and technical documents
• Support preparation and tracking of technical submittals, shop drawings, and material approvals
• Coordinate with consultants, designers, and internal project teams on technical queries
• Assist in managing RFIs and technical clarifications
• Support compliance of designs with project specifications, standards, and authority requirements
• Maintain technical registers, drawings logs, and document control records
• Assist with value engineering and constructability reviews
• Support technical input during planning, procurement, and execution stages
• Ensure adherence to HSE and quality requirements

Qualifications, Experience, Knowledge & Skills

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Civil preferred for infrastructure)
• Knowledge of AutoCAD or similar engineering software is an advantage

• 0–2 years’ experience (graduates and junior engineers encouraged)
• Exposure to infrastructure or construction projects is an advantage
• UAE experience not essential
