POSITION SUMMARY
The Grant Manager is responsible for overseeing the financial management and compliance of both federal and non-federal grants. While not directly responsible for grant writing or submission, this role provides critical financial inputs during proposal development and ensures post-award financial integrity, regulatory compliance, and timely reporting. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, collaborative, and well-versed in grant-related financial operations.
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Collaborate with program and development teams to provide financial data, budget templates, and cost estimates for grant proposals.
  • Ensure proposed budgets align with organizational policies and funding agency requirements.
  • Monitor grant budgets, expenditures, and financial performance across multiple funding sources.
  • Ensure compliance with federal regulations (e.g., 2 CFR Part 200) and non-federal grantor guidelines.
  • Maintain accurate records of financial transactions and grant documentation.
  • Prepare and submit financial reports and reimbursement requests to grantors.
  • Track reporting deadlines and ensure timely submission of all financial deliverables.
  • Support program teams with financial data for programmatic reports.
  • Assist with internal and external audits related to grant funding.
  • Ensure proper documentation and procedures for grant closeout.
  • Monitor subrecipient financial compliance when applicable.
  • Serve as a financial liaison between finance, program, and development teams.
  • Communicate grant-related financial requirements and updates to internal stakeholders.

OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • As required by some customer contracts, Peckham employees may be required to obtain and maintain relevant professional certifications and/or security clearances as a condition of employment. This requirement will be determined based on the specific needs of contract.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • This position may have direct supervisory responsibility.
  • Develop a unified team that reflects Peckham's culture and values and fosters
  • Provide feedback, mentorship, and coaching.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Public Administration, or related field.
  • 3–5 years of experience in financial management of federal and/or non-federal grants.
  • Strong understanding of Uniform Guidance (2 CFR Part 200) and other grant compliance frameworks.
  • Proficiency in financial systems and grant management software.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Experience with federal agencies (e.g., HUD, DOJ, HHS) and private foundations.
  • Certification in Grants Management (e.g., CGMS)..
  • Ability to manage multiple grants and deadlines simultaneously.
