The salary range indicated in this announcement is based on the Employee/Employer retirement compensation schedule. An employer-only option is available at a reduced salary range. Generally, salaries start at the lowest level of a step 1 and increase with each year of service to the highest level of a step 10.

The Position

Grants & Projects Analysts develop and implement and/or assess, monitor, control and review grant-in-aid projects/programs administered by State agencies and provide assistance to recipients in evaluating program effectiveness.

Incumbents possess a degree of knowledge and proficiency sufficient to perform advanced-level work and may provide work direction and training to others.

The Grants & Projects Analyst 2 will work in the Grants Management Unit in Carson City. The incumbent will support fiscal requirements and activities associated with subawards. This includes developing subaward documents, processing requests for reimbursements, tracking expenditures, as well as converting and reporting financial transactions. The incumbent will be responsible for the fiscal oversight of subawards made from the assigned state or federal grants, including to ensure compliance with applicable state and federal regulations.
