Graphic Design Teacher/Tutor

Opportunity:

We are seeking an enthusiastic and cheerful educator to join us in delivering engaging virtual lessons that enhance our students' graphic design and digital art skills.

Successful candidates for the role of graphic design teacher/tutor should have a deep understanding of effective teaching methods. Our ideal candidate will create an energetic learning environment while also being attuned to the psychosocial needs of the students.

Responsibilities:

• Host and manage virtual classrooms using Zoom, demonstrating proficiency in various Zoom features.
• Teach students how to effectively use Canva for graphic design purposes.
• Design and present lessons that help students grasp graphic design principles and technical software usage.
• Prepare and distribute learning materials, explaining complex concepts in simple and understandable terms.
• Provide individual attention to students to enhance their performance and address behavioral concerns.
• Foster a safe and supportive learning atmosphere.

Experience/Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in teaching children.
• Bachelor Degree or Higher
• Proficiency in teaching graphic design skills.
• Ability to plan and deliver lessons that enhance students' graphic design understanding.
• Successful completion of a criminal background check.

Requirements:

• Own a laptop or desktop computer (Mac or Windows) within 5 years of age, equipped with supported hardware and software.
• Proficiency in installing and using Zoom.
• Access to a well-lit and quiet space for conducting classes.
• Flexible working hours, with adherence to agreed-upon class schedules.
