To prepare , either within a team or alone , the monthly valuation. To take-off from drawings quantities as needed and to present them in a logical manner. To fully understand the means by which valuations are prepared , the take-off of quantities and on site measurement.

skills Required

• To understand the difference between Lump Sum and Bill of Rates.
• Ideally to have been employed on multi discipline projects.
• Managing costs on a wide variety of new building projects and structures , such as Airports , residential developments , sports gym , schools , hospitals , offices and Museums.

Qualifications Required

• Applicants should have a Degree / Diploma in civil engineering.
• with minimum 8 years exp in construction of projects , and at least 5 years as a QUANTITYSURVEYOR As a minimum , experience in heavy civil works is required.
• Previous experience as a Site Engineer before becoming aQuantity Surveyor is preferred.
