Summary

Graphic Designer creates visual concepts using specialized software or by hand to communicate ideas for various applications, including advertisements, brochures, websites, and product packaging

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Design digital assets
  • Social media graphics (posts, ads, stories, campaigns, holidays).
  • Digital ads (Google, Meta, NTTS, online publications).
  • Website banners and email graphics.
  • Ensure visuals align with brand identity and platform specifications.
  • Design print materials
  • Brochures, flyers, business cards, and stationery.
  • Company newsletter
  • Event materials (banners, signage, programs).
  • Promotional items (giveaways, branded apparel, packaging).
  • Deliver high-quality, print-ready files for vendors.
  • Design company materials
  • Bids
  • Forms (Release, Credit Card Authorization, Hold Harmless, etc.)
  • Presentations
  • Support brand development
  • Design and update logos, icons, and templates.
  • Develop visual guidelines and ensure brand consistency.
  • Refresh outdated materials with updated branding.
  • Manage design requests
  • Review incoming project requests through Basecamp/HubSpot, prioritize based on deadlines, and communicate with requesters for clarity
  • Collaborate with marketing team
  • Work with writers, social media managers, and campaign leads to develop visuals that complement copy and strategy.
  • Prepare files for production and vendors
  • Package artwork, confirm specs, and coordinate with vendors to ensure accuracy and quality
Secondary/Occasional Responsibilities (As Needed):
  • Photography
  • Photograph trucks and drivers to generate content for social media and imagery
  • for marketing materials
  • Develop event-related artwork (e.g., signage, t-shirts) for local brand events.
  • Design and apply branded decals for support equipment.
  • Assist with video and photography editing
  • Enhance photos or create simple motion graphics when needed for campaigns.
  • Support event and conference design
  • Create stage visuals, booth graphics, signage, and branded experiences for
  • Guardian events and sponsored programs.
  • Conduct design research
  • Stay current on design trends, software updates, and competitor creative to recommend new approaches.
  • Assist with creative audits and improvements
  • Review existing materials, suggest updates, and refine design processes for efficiency and impact
Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in graphic design or related field (or equivalent experience)

  • 2+ years of professional design experience

  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)

  • Solid portfolio demonstrating digital and print design work

  • Strong understanding of brand identity and visual consistency

  • Experience collaborating with marketing or creative teams

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines

  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
Physical Requirements
Frequently required to use hands to touch, handle, and feel, and to reach with hands and arms. May on occasion be required to exert physical effort involving lifting/moving objects that may weigh 25 pounds, stooping, reaching, carrying, and pushing. Good hearing and vision required.
