Position Summary:
Under the supervision of the Creative Services Manager, Graphic Designer 1 assists in the production of graphic design work for internal and external collateral materials, photography editing, merchandising and promotional materials.

Candidates will need to provide a portfolio that showcases previous relevant work.

Essential Functions of the Job:
  • Develops high-quality design and production of creative collateral to include but not limited to clinic/programming brochures, billboards, PowerPoint presentations, press kits, fact sheets, flyers, templates, folders, stickers, display booths, decorative artwork, program site and banner signage.
  • Photography editing of special events, staff pictures, clinic pictures, etc. in a timely manner.
  • Producing Social Media graphics in collaboration with External Affairs Department.
  • Developing digital signage in a timely manner so content is fresh and relevant.
  • Creates and proof-reads in detail copy for marketing materials, signage and advertisements.
  • Displays a strong ability and understanding of target audiences, client objectives and core/preferred messaging.
  • Works as a team player and independently, set priorities, maintain and foster multiple projects, and accurately complete assignments in a timely manner while honoring confidentiality.
  • Video editing basic knowledge desired however not necessary, open to learning the skill.
  • Project management skill desired and/or willing to learn and adapt to project management procedures.
  • Proactively communicates with External Affairs team members and departments on the status of projects and associated needs for their accurate and timely completion.

Job Requirements

Education Required (Minimum level of education):
Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design/Multimedia.

Experience Required:
2-4 years of experience in Adobe Cloud

Verbal and Written Skills Required to perform the job:
Excellent oral, written and verbal communication, design, and interpersonal skills.

Working Traits:
Superb organizational ability and adept at accuracy in details.

Technical Knowledge and Skills Required to Perform the Job:
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Publisher), knowledge of Digital Camera use and photography equipment, Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign Illustrator, Photoshop, LiveCycle, Premiere Pro, After Effects).

Equipment Used:
Personal Computer, Desk Phone, Copier and Scanner

Working Conditions and Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods of sitting, and constant walking and standing. Driving and occasional travel required.

Universal Requirements:
Pre-employment requirements include I-9, physical, positive background and reference check results, complete application, new hire orientation, pre-employment PPDs. Compliance with all mandated vaccinations and all boosters is a term and condition of employment.
