Design and refresh marketing materials—product sheets, brochures, catalogs, tradeshow assets, and presentations—that make our brand shine.
- Create eye-catching graphics for social media, email campaigns, and our corporate website.
- Develop responsive, user-friendly web layouts and landing pages that elevate the customer experience.
- Collaborate with Web and Digital Marketing teams to ensure consistent, engaging designs across all platforms.
- Maintain and update content in CMS tools while keeping brand standards front and center.
- Design UI/UX elements like icons, buttons, and navigation for new web features.
- Produce visuals for internal communications and signage that keep our team connected.
- Edit and optimize photography for marketing use, managing uploads in our Digital Asset Manager (DAM).
- Keep our asset library organized and up-to-date for easy access across teams.
- Work independently and collaboratively to conceptualize and execute creative projects.
- Participate in creative reviews and contribute ideas that strengthen Whelen’s brand presence.
- Help improve workflows and refine templates for greater efficiency.
- Bachelor's degree in graphic design, visual communication, or equivalent experience.
- 3+ years of professional design experience in marketing, corporate, or agency settings.
- Expert in Adobe Creative Cloud (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, InCopy); motion graphics experience (After Effects or Premiere Pro) is a plus.
- Skilled in designing both print and digital media, including social media, email, and web.
- Familiar with web design principles, responsive layouts, and UX/UI best practices.
- Experience with CMS platforms and Digital Asset Management (DAM) systems.
- Bonus points for Figma experience and digital prototyping skills.
- Strong eye for typography, layout, and visual hierarchy.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to juggle multiple projects under tight deadlines.
- Excellent communicator and collaborator with a proactive, creative mindset.
