Graphic designer as Lecturer

Job Title: Graphic Design Lecturer Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Graphic Design Lecturer to join our faculty team. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching and mentoring students in graphic design principles, practices, and software. They will also contribute to curriculum development, assessment, and departmental activities. Key Responsibilities: 1. *Teaching and Mentoring*: Deliver high-quality lectures, tutorials, and workshops in graphic design, and provide individualized feedback and guidance to students. 2. *Curriculum Development*: Contribute to the development, review, and updating of graphic design curricula, ensuring they remain relevant and industry-aligned. 3. *Assessment and Evaluation*: Develop and implement assessments, evaluate student performance, and provide constructive feedback. 4. *Industry Engagement*: Establish and maintain connections with industry professionals, organizations, and networks to enhance teaching, research, and student opportunities. 5. *Research and Scholarship*: Engage in research, scholarly activities, and professional development to maintain expertise and contribute to the field of graphic design. 6. *Departmental Activities*: Participate in departmental meetings, and events, and contribute to the overall management and development of the department. Requirements: 1. *Qualifications*: Master's degree in Graphic Design. 2. *Experience*: Minimum 3 years of teaching experience in graphic design, and industry experience in graphic design or a related field. 3. *Expertise*: Strong knowledge of graphic design principles, practices, and software. 4. *Communication*: Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills. 5. *Organizational*: Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills. Preferred Qualifications: 1. *Industry certifications*: Certifications in graphic design software or related areas (e.g., Adobe Certified Expert). 2. *Research and publication*: A record of research, publication, and scholarship in graphic design or a related field. 3. *Leadership experience*: Experience in leading teams, projects, or initiatives in graphic design education or industry.
