About Us:

Brain Discovery Global School (BDGS) is a fast-growing educational network with 30+ institutes across India, known for its innovation in curriculum design, digital education, and creative learning solutions. We are seeking a talented Graphic Designer who is passionate about book design and layout creation for educational content, textbooks, and creative materials.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop book layouts, covers, and illustrations for academic and non-academic publications.
• Collaborate with the curriculum and content development teams to visualize and design engaging pages for students of various age groups.
• Create print-ready files ensuring proper alignment, bleed, margins, and high-resolution output.
• Develop creative infographics, diagrams, and educational illustrations to enhance learning experiences.
• Maintain brand consistency across all materials — books, brochures, and marketing collaterals.
• Adapt and format designs for digital publishing (eBooks, PDFs, and online learning platforms).
• Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, meeting strict deadlines.
• Stay updated with current design trends, typography, and printing techniques.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Graphic Design / Fine Arts / Visual Communication or a related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in book design, preferably in the education or publishing sector.
• Proficiency in Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, and other layout design tools.
• Strong understanding of color theory, typography, and page composition.
• Experience preparing designs for print production (CMYK, prepress, bleed, resolution standards).
• Ability to handle large content volumes and maintain design consistency.
• Creative mindset with excellent attention to detail.
• (Preferred) Knowledge of CorelDRAW and digital publishing tools (EPUB, PDF optimization).
