Graphic Designer / DTF Printer Operator

T-Shirts By Design is a locally owned screen printing and embroidery shop serving schools, teams, and businesses across the Pacific Northwest. We’re looking for a Graphic Designer / DTF Printer Operator to join our creative team — someone who’s passionate about clean, effective design and enjoys seeing their work come to life on apparel.

About the Role
This position blends digital design and hands-on production, perfect for someone who loves both the creative and technical sides of custom printing. You’ll design logos and apparel layouts, prepare production files, and run our DTF (Direct-to-Film) printer to produce transfers used in our shop.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and refine artwork for schools, universities, teams, and business clients
• Prepare print-ready files for screen printing, embroidery, and DTF applications
• Operate and maintain the DTF printer and heat press equipment
• Ensure high-quality color matching, sizing, and print alignment
• Collaborate with clients and our internal production team on mockups and approvals
• Organize digital assets and maintain design consistency across projects

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator (required); Photoshop and Canva experience a plus
• Strong eye for branding and typography
• Comfortable managing multiple design requests and deadlines
• Experience with apparel design or print production preferred
• Reliable, detail-oriented, and eager to learn new production processes

Schedule & Flexibility

• Approximately 30 hours per week (flexible scheduling)
• Hybrid work possible, but in-person hours are required each week for production work
