Grounds Crew Member

Overview
We are seeking dedicated and skilled individuals to join our Grounds Crew team. This role is essential in maintaining the beauty and functionality of our outdoor spaces. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and a passion for landscaping, lawn care, and horticulture. Duties

• Perform lawn care activities including mowing, trimming, and edging to ensure well-maintained grass areas.
• Engage in landscape maintenance tasks such as planting, weeding, and mulching to enhance the aesthetic appeal of gardens and flower beds.
• Operate hand tools, power tools, and machinery including excavators for various landscaping projects.
• Conduct tree care activities including tree trimming and removal as necessary.
• Assist in hardscape projects such as paving pathways or installing retaining walls.
• Maintain equipment and tools in good working condition through regular cleaning and servicing.
• Free golf is included for all grounds crew staff!
• We do lay off most of our staff starting beginning of November, but we bring everyone back in March to get the course ready for next season.

Experience

• Proven experience in landscaping, lawn care, or horticulture is preferred.
• Familiarity with mechanical systems related to landscaping equipment is a plus.
• Knowledge of gardening practices and plant care techniques is beneficial.
• Experience with construction tasks related to outdoor spaces will be advantageous.
• Ability to operate various hand tools, power tools, and machinery safely and effectively.
