Groundskeeper

Groundskeeper Onondaga is seeking a high motivated individual to join our team as a full-time groundskeeper. The work involves responsibility for performing unskilled and semi-skilled manual tasks in the maintenance of public grounds. Responsible for the general upkeep of the grounds including all road areas, athletic fields and play areas. Includes a variety of light and heavy manual labor tasks. Must have sufficient physical strength and agility to do heavy manual labor, occasionally under adverse weather conditions.

In addition, this position operates snow removal equipment and other related manual tasks during the winter. Must possess a valid NYS driver license.

This is a labor class civil service position that does not require a written exam.
