Groundskeeper

FT/40 hours/week must be able to work in all-weather condition. Must be over the age of 21 to operate equipment. Experience preferred.

Position Summary:

Provide a well-manicured, clean, neat grounds by mowing, edging, weed eating, trimming of bushes, trees, other shrubbery. All other duties as assigned.

Position responsibilities:

*Maintain all grounds and shrubbery in a neat well-trimmed manner by utilizing the equipment provided.

*Ensure proper and safe operation of all equipment.

*Service all equipment as needed. (Change oil and filters, sharpen blades, check fluids and clean daily)

*Collect trash and garbage.

*Assist in moving resident furniture.

*Assist during emergencies.

*All other duties as assigned.

*Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.

Qualifications/Job Functions:

Ability to work in outdoor conditions during all seasons. Required to use equipment such as walk behind mower, riding mower, golf carts, JD backhoe, 60' manlift, Kubota tractor and a variety of powered and nonpowered hand tools. Physical strength and stamina equal to heavy work. Must maintain a positive attitude of helpfulness towards our residents and coworkers.

Pay: $15.00 per hour
