Schedule: 8:00 am – 4:30 pm, Sunday - Thursday

Salary: Starting at $18.00

Who you are:

• One year of experience as a maintenance assistant or grounds keeper for a building maintenance company, health care, manufacturing or educational facility; or other relevant experience
• Must have the ability to count objects and proportion cleaning chemicals and solvents and be able to calculate the amount of supplies needed for the work assignment
• Must be able to pace work in order to meet deadlines
• Able to read, write and communicate effectively in English
• Must possess a valid California driver’s license

Job Summary:

The Groundskeeper is responsible for providing a well-kept appearance for the entire grounds and parking area. He will assist our contracted landscaping company.

Essential Job Duties

• Maintains swimming pool and spa areas including restrooms and locker rooms in a clean safe and sanitary manner.
• Maintains all tools, equipment and supplies under job description in proper condition.
• Picks up debris and keeps grounds free of litter.
• Maintains all tools, equipment, and supplies in proper condition.
• Participates in all drills and in-service meetings, when assigned.
• Assists individual residents and resident garden groups with landscaping and gardening chores as required.
• Maintains all parking garages in a clean and safe manner.
• Participates in emergency drills and acts as a member of the Emergency Response Team.
• Performs any other relative, relevant duties as assigned.

All Employees must be able to pass background checks (fitness for duty physical, fingerprinting, employment references) as required by a licensed residential care facility.
