IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL

Be responsible for leading and overseeing the Health, Safety, Environment (HSE) and Sustainability workstreams across PTCL Group. The role will involve developing and implementing strategies, policies, and procedures to ensure that the organization operates in a safe, sustainable, and responsible manner, while complying with relevant laws and regulations. This position will work closely with senior leadership, business units, and stakeholders to identify, prioritize, and manage risks related to HSE and sustainability.

HOW CAN YOU EXPRESS YOUR TALENT

• Foster culture of HSE and sustainability across the PTCL Group. This will entail promoting best practices, development and implementation of training programs for employees to ensure their comprehension of their duties and obligations and integrating safety and sustainability into the PTCL Group's culture, pertinent business processes, and decision-making.
• Develop and maintain HSE and sustainability Strategy, policies, procedures, and guidelines that are consistent with industry best practices and international standards.
• Establish and maintain effective relationships with business units and stakeholders to identify and prioritize risks and opportunities related to HSE and sustainability.
• Lead periodic HSE and sustainability audits and assessments to identify areas for improvement, recommend corrective actions and ensure implementation of agreed action plan.
• Build, scale, and lead a high performing and inclusive team, setting ambitious, measurable goals having direct impact to PTCL Group HSE & Sustainability commitments.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL

Qualification

Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree in Engineering, Environmental Sciences, Occupational Health & Safety, or related field.

HSE Certifications preferred:

• NEBOSH / IOSH
• ISO 14001 / ISO 45001 Lead Auditor
• Sustainability/ESG certifications (GRI, etc.)

Experience

• 12-15+ years of experience in HSE and sustainability (preferably telecom, infrastructure, or energy sector)

Key Functional Capabilities

• Developing and implementing HSE and sustainability strategies and initiatives
• Ensuring compliance with regulations
• Managing risk
• Managing HSE and sustainability performance/reporting
